Shootin' the Whiskey and Givin' a Holler

Last night, I spent the evening at the Thunderbird Cafe listening to the funky sounds of The Whiskey Holler. This foursome blends rockabilly with blues to create a style of their own. Dressed up in true Halloween fashion, the group rocked the stage with original tunes as well as covers such as Sam Cooke's Bring it On Home to Me. This is one of my favorite songs and it was refreshing to hear an awesome rendition that honored the soul icon.
